Lola Scarborough, CYT

Lola Scarborough is a certified yoga teacher, certified aerobics teacher, a Level III Reiki master, a novice astrologer, and one of the owners of Yoga Lola Studios, LLC.  She teaches many of the Kundalini Yoga classes at Yoga Lola Studios and is certified through IKYTA.  She has a BA in Political Science, and has a long history as a writer, teacher, and project manager in the business world.

Lola has been teaching and practicing Kundalini Yoga for the past twelve years, and has studied with many veteran teachers of the discipline.  She has found that teaching is truly a transformational experience for both teacher and student.

As well as teaching classes to students in good health, Lola has blended Yoga into her healing practice (often called Yoga Therapy) and has used it with great success as part of her overall healing technique.  Lola offers medical/emotional counsel as an energy healer, spiritual counsellor, yoga teacher, and general advisor.  Over the course of the last 30 years, she has worked people with cancer, depression, migraines, nightmares, Hep (all varieties of it), emotional imbalances, female problems, busted up knees, torn rotator cuffs, fear, rage, addiction, hypochondria -- in short, with the full spectrum of human physical, mental, and emotional conditions and traumas.  She has read, studied, attended a large number of seminars and workshops, and has been engaged in experiences related to the metaphysical aspects of human existence ever since she was old enough to read, observe, and experiment.  She has worked hands-on with many masters and has independently studied literally hundreds of books on astrology, numerology, energy healing, distance healing, the power of thought, yoga, mantra and religion.  She has a strong theoretical basis for her practices as well as a deep knowledge of the various metaphysical approaches and their effectiveness in managing the suffering and journeys encountered by all, combined with hands-on experience in the field.
