About Dr. Lola Scarborough, Ph.D: I have been an energy healer for over 48 years. You could even say I have it in my blood. Trained in energy work at the age of 12 by my own grandmother, who was an energy healer herself, I have been helping people and pets cope with life events and illness through energy work most of my life. About Reiki
Energy bodywork is non-invasive and non-intrusive. You remain fully clothed throughout the session. It is beautifully calming and melts your troubles away. As you rest and relax, I simply hold my hands up over your body (or gently place them down) and transmit God's healing love from my hands to you.
Reiki/Energy Healing sessions have an amazingly beneficial impact on the body, mind, and spirit. Sessions can help alleviate physical and mental pain, relax an overwrought mind, improve the immune system, reduce stress, speed wound healing, and simply make you feel better all over.
Reiki is, and has been, scientifically studied and found to be a valid tool for speeding up healing and recovery for patients. It is also used in a number of hospital settings as well. Doctors and nurses have been trained in Reiki, Healing Touch, Pranic Healing and many other modalities. All of these practices use energy to help rebalance the body, mind, and spirit.
Types of Reiki Sessions
I offer a number of different kinds of Reiki Sessions - some with crytals and some without and also Reiki plus sound healing.
Either of the two sessions below are powerful for cleaning up your energy field, lightening any old emotional garbage you are dragging around, and relieving stress. The Reiki only sesssion is a tune up for your whole system. The Reiki + Egg Clearing takes it a step further by removing some energetic maladies projected on us without our consent by others. Enjoy a full Reiki Session plus an egg clearing (limpia). Egg clearings are used to remove bad luck, blockages, confusion, bad karma, and negative energy directed at you from others (the evil eye). It is especially helpful in removing spiritual illnesses.

In these sessions I combine Energy Healing work with the use of one or more of the following: the pendulum, crystals, the Merkaba, Chumpi Stones and/or smudging. I offer a number of different modalities to help balance, recharge, and remove negative energies from the energy field, body, and mind. Cord Cutting Ceremony:
Cords are the vestiges of positive or negative events, experiences, or encounters with other beings that stay in our minds long after the actual event happened and which we re-live when the memory resurfaces in our thoughts. Positive cords make us feel good when we reflect on them; negative cords do the opposite. They make us feel bad. Negative cords usually re-traumatize us or create strong, unpleasant feelings that come up again when we think of a event. These past impressions hold us back, make us unhappy, or cause us to react in ways that do not serve our highest good. And, each time we rehash such a memory, the cords are energetically reactivated to keep this situation alive and present in our psyche in a way that affects us physically and emotionally. Cords are energetics that are tied into our memory, our nervous system, and are things that we get "triggered" by. A cord-cutting ceremony allows us to integrate the experience in a healing way and release the negative attachment so it no longer has a hold on us. We are freed from bad memories that cling to us. Sound Healing Sessions
A/k/a Vibrational Healing. Sound helps reduce stress and helps synchronize brain wave frequencies, resulting in feelings of peacefulness and balance. It may also assist in healing from physical or mental illnesses. Depending on our focus, our sessions use sound healing music and/or instruments such as the gong, crystal healing pyramids, rattles, drums, and Tibetan cymbals and/or Tibetan singing bowls, coupled with Reiki healing. These sessions are geared towards repairing damaged DNA and strengthening the nervous system.
